TWO LAKE SEWER AUTHORITY REGULAR MEETING WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2018
Meeting called to order by chairperson David Meister at 7:01 PM
Pledge of Allegiance
Attendance: Judy Girven, Jeff Harthun, Jeff Bair, Brian Sousa, Shelli Johnson, and Meister.
Amend the Agenda: Add Coding of parcels to New Business
Public Comment: Comment received regarding the Articles of Incorporation stating that a Bank Account is to be established.
Minutes of the August 1, 2018 meeting: Motion by Harthun, Second by Bair to accept the Minutes of the August 1, 2018 Regular Authority Meeting as presented. M/C
New Business: Most of the entities are complete with the boundary list. Coding is the next step to include with the boundary setting. Sousa will send out a standard REU chart as an example. Each municipality should have a quorum at the next meeting for input and standardization. `
Unfinished Business: The call-in conference calling was implemented at this meeting. The information on individuals wanting to attend via phone conference is on the Onekama.info website under the Two Lake Collaborative Authority link. Nobody has utilized this ability at this point. [**see below]
Bair will pose the question of Bonding to Roger Swetts and will report next meeting.
Public Comment : Will Bear Lake Residents be in the district? 520 Assessments are in Onekama? Capacity Flow question on percentages. The boundary line between Bear Lake Village and Bear Lake Township are in question. How are businesses/residents at poverty level going to be handled, without running those people out of town if they cannot afford it? Feasibility? Feasibility is after the application is submitted to the USDA. Each Board decides their own municipality. Next Meeting is October 3, 2018, at the Bear Lake School Media Center at 7:00 PM.
